First and foremost... We are NOT a Disc Jockey Warehouse! Our Wedding staff consists of four
D.J.'s that are experienced, professional, and trustworthy. Our Wedding D.J.'s
receive many referrals based on their performance alone. We believe in limiting the number
of Weddings we play at on any given weekend so that we can maintain a high standard of
professionalism. We DO NOT sub contract out to other companies that believe in treating a
Wedding as "just another Wedding". Large scale companies may lack the personal attention
that should accompany a Disc Jockey at an event such as a Wedding. To us you are a couple
about to celebrate the joy of starting a new life, not just a number on a contract.
Tailoring Music To Your Taste
The number one goal of the D.J. at any Wedding should be to make the music as pleasing as
possible for the Bride & Groom, as well as the guests. At Tailored Tunes we strive to
understand the kinds of music you like, as well as dislike,and we strive to play the
right songs from the first to the last. To us, nothing is finer than to have guests
tapping their feet to the dinner music, and then later dancing the night away in
festive celebration. Many D.J.'s will disappear during the entire dinner, leaving
only one style of music to be played for over an hour or so. Sure, at Tailored Tunes
we believe a good D.J. is a well fed D.J.(insert a laugh), however, as soon as were finished
nourishing ourselves we are back at the mixer "mixing it up a bit", trying to
catch the ear of the newlyweds and guests with selections that are appropriate,
suprising, and tasteful to the dinner mood. We will also take requests throughout the
reception, fitting them in at the appropriate time. In short, we want you to enjoy the
music we play from the first song to the last, not just when it's time for the Y.M.C.A.
or the Electric Slide
Our Equipment
We use only professional quality mobile Disc Jockey equipment from
major manufacturers. Our systems are capable of delivering outstanding
sound quality for parties of up to four hundred people. In the very
unlikely event of equipment failure, we carry back ups of the major components
of the system such as the amplifiers, mixer, and cd players.
A wireless microphone is standard,and we have a back up microphone as added
insurance. We also have outside support available in case the need may arise,
but as of yet has not been needed. Our systems deliver outstanding sound quality
at all volume levels,with warm bass and crisp highs, complimenting our compact
disc and digital music library. Lighting is available upon request. We use professional lighting
to tastefully compliment the celebration,not to bright, not to dull, just right.
We can customize a lighting package to suit your individual needs, if requested.
Quality sound and lighting is very high on our list of priorities when it comes to
your Wedding reception. Rest assured we will work very hard to obtain the very best
sound and lighting experience possible for you and your guests throughout the entire
reception.
