Are you looking for entertaiment for your establishment?

Ask yourself the following...

  • Do you think all Karaoke and Disc Jockey companies are about the same?

  • Have you tried Karaoke or a Disc Jockey and it "just didn't work out"?

  • Please read this page to see if you'd like to try a "Tailored Tunes" show.

We believe there are certain "qualities" to look for when searching for entertainment.
We'd like to share with you how we run our shows.

    Sound and Selection

We pride ourselves on sound. It's one of the biggest reasons are shows are successful. The equipment we use from our microphones to our mixers far exceeds the standards being used today in the industry. We occasionaly use our systems to mix live bands, and if the system is good enough for a band, then you can bet it sounds great when being used for Karaoke or Disc Jockeying. We have heard the comment of, "You guy's make a bad singer sound good and a good singer sound great"! And that comment is the reason we use such high end equipment. We don't over do it with speakers or wattage, we use the appropriate equipment for the room and mix accordingly. And that is what great sound is all about. Our Karaoke selection contains mostly all the classics as well as all the current mix of top 4o, r&b, alternative, and country. And like our Karaoke selection, our on hand supply of Disc Jockey selections lets us play a wide variety of the same.

    Customer Service

A seasoned Karaoke customer knows when it's their turn turn to sing. New Patrons just want to have fun. When people go out dancing they want to "feel the beat" and hear their favorite songs played in an energetic manner. Our hosts keep a close watch on the show making sure all possible requests are honored. If it happens to be a Karaoke night, our hosts make sure everyone gets their fair turns to sing and no one it left out. Even if a patron arrives late, they're sure to sing at least once. We believe our service to our patrons is the main reason our company is successful.

    Advertising!

We believe that advertising and promotion is the key to successful night of entertainment. Simply displaying a sign either outside or inside (perferably both) and KEEPING IT DISPLAYED goes a long way to keeping a night of entertainment consistantly busy. We send out an email to approximatly 400 people on a bi-monthly basis which contains information about our shows such as new shows, food & drink specials, contests, promotions we have running with sponsors etc. All of our shows are listed here on our webiste with a color advertisment. Check out the Karaoke Show page to see what we mean. We like to associate ourselves with clients who are TRULY driven to building their business.

    Show Times and Fees

We usually start our shows at 9:30p.m. and play to 1:30a.m.-1:45a.m., depending on how busy the establishment is that evening. You may want to consider times of 9:00p.m. to 1:00a.m. or 10:00p.m. to 2:00a.m., depending on your clientele.Four hours is generally the length of our shows. Please call us at 412-884-9595 to discuss pricing or for a list of references. We'd rather not publish our fees or references on the internet. We are dedicated to having the best Karaoke and Dance nights around. You may find an entertainment company for a bargin basement price, but the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for". Especially when it comes to hiring entertainment for your establishment.

    Speaking of References...

Tailored Tunes was selected by the Iron City Brewing Company to help plan, organize, host, and run sound for the "Yoi2K" Karaoke finals held at the Brewery back in January of 1999. The event was a sing off of (40) forty finalists from local bars, pubs, and restaurants that have Karaoke on a weekly basis. The event was hosted by Mr. Myron Cope and Mr. Mike Steele from WDVE radio. We were selected out of (25) twenty-five other entertainment companies. A large number of finalists commented on the quality of our sound as well as our professionalism. It truly was a high point for our company. One of the finalists (from West Virginia) to this day occasionaly makes trips to our South Hills shows to sing with us.
